Dell PowerEdge SC1435

Hi All,

Do you guys think that FreePBX is suitable for a maximum of 5 concurrent calls and facilitating 10 ip phones at maximum? I want the system to be jitter free and to have excellent quality, so i think this will do the trick. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks in advance.

I think you could support 1000 phones and 200 concurrent conversations on that computer.

Quality and jitter have very little to do with the CPU, it is mostly dependent on your network and the quality of your trunks.

With that small a system I would be looking at a small Atom based server like the Supermicro http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1U/5015/SYS-5015A-EHF-D525.cfm

It supports a DOM for a real low power solution.
