Is there a way to deliver an incoming fax to both an extension (using an ATA connected to a fax machine) and a fax recipient (email attachment)? I am thinking that since Freepbx already acts as a fax endpoint (for email delivery) that it could somehow receive the fax to some sort of queue, then deliver a copy to the fax recipient route and another to the extension by simulating a connection to the ATA.
My first blush answer is “No, not out of the box.” That’s mostly because of the way destinations are handled. Now, having said that, you could probably write a custom context (and perhaps a backing ARI) that could do this, but I don’t think that widget is available yet.
