Default Ports

I have a question on if I should switch things to their default ports.

We had a FreePBX 13 system, and have upgraded it to a FreePBX 15 system. I came across this article on the wiki that showed the ports used for FreePBX, and noticed that most of mine are not in alignment.

So my question is, would it be recommended that I change things to the defaults as noted in the Wiki article. I figured this might make things a bit more organized as I roll out things like Zulu and other services to our organization.

I can’t see any good reason to change port assignments you’re already familiar with. It doesn’t change anything when it comes to important things like security. You will just have to mentally transpose when reading how-to’s and wikis for your own circumstances.
