Default log permission and user?

Also wrote to asterisk forum but has no replies, and desperately need my asterisks log file back!

I was trying to backup and create new daily log files.

Anyways somehow I have lost the ability for asterisk to write to the log file, any one know how to get this back up and working correctly?

Please help.

I am running asteriskNow 1.5 with upgraded asterisk to 1.6

log file permission is set to:

-rwxrwxrwx 1 asterisk asterisk 0 Oct 29 01:00 full

Perhaps try asterisk -rx “logger rotate” or asterisk -rx “logger reload”
