Trying to Add New System Recording got the following error:
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)
[/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/sound-1730406418761.wav.wav]
Anyone got an idea how to fix this issue?
That message normally means that Asterisk isn’t running. If you are sure it is running, check the permissions on /var /var/run /var/run/asterisk, and the existence and permissions of /var/run/asterisk/asterisk/ctl. It is the pipe through which asterisk -r communicates with the main Asterisk.

Thanks for your reply, already check all permissions and existence of this file, everything is working fine on the Freepbx interface (all services are up) the only issue is this with recordings.
The double wav looks sus, albeit potentially fun to ride.
