Hi, some nightly backups fail with error message like:
August 9, 2021, 9:17 pm - Creating directory ‘/pbx2/Daily’
August 9, 2021, 9:17 pm - Directory ‘/pbx2/Daily’ did not exist and we could not create it
August 9, 2021, 9:17 pm - ftp_mkdir(): /pbx2: File exists
The remote ftp server gets other backups without these issues. So it’s not the ftp server causing this.
The server with the above failure:
PBX Version: 15.0.17.43
PBX Distro:12.7.8-2107-3.sng7
Asterisk Version: 16.19.0
Hi Dicko,
/pbx is a directory. Run # rm -rf /pbx on ftp server, next backup works as it should. It will create /pbx/Daily on the ftp server and save the backup file. Subsequent backups will produce the mkdir error. For some reason the backup process in FreePBX sees the DIR but it also wants to create the existing DIR which makes no sense.
