Iāve got my D80 and Iām trying to have it configured in my business environment.
I want to update the firmware, I followed all the steps, everything is fine but the new firmware is not pushed to the phone. Iāve been in touch with the Digium support, they answered it is a Freepbx issue.
Asterisk 15.5.0/Freepbx 14.0.3.13.
This is what I did:
In Freepbx
Connectivity/Digium phones/Firmware I downloaded the D80 firmware_1_8_8_package
Connectivity/Digium phones/phones I edited the relevant phone and selected the firmware package
I saved the configuration and clicked on Reconfigure to push the updates to the phone
Then, after it comes up into the phone UI, grab a debug from the phone: http://[ip of phone]/ptsr
Then send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE on this board with the resulting file. Itāll take a minute or two to download the file; donāt panic if it seems like it stopped after a few bytes.
Iāll be able to tell you what the phoneās trying to do. That may shed some light on the situation.
