So from what I see now everything should be set up in a way that it works however I’m experiencing a few issues
Now that I have fixed the outbound routes when attempting to dial out from within the system it says “forbidden”, I can see in the logs that it does attempt to make an outbound call
if I try to dial in from a mobile I get the same behavior as before (the mobile rings but nothing shows up on the pbx), nothing under asterisk logs, and nothing in sngrep.
If I run a packet capture I don’t even see any traffic other than the as-discussed OPTIONS and 403 responses.
staring at the firewall logs for a bit doesn’t even show anything useful, no ports that I would associate with sip are being blocked.
This all seems to me like very strange behavior and I’m not entirely sure why the system isn’t working
