CUCM > FreePBX > PSTN cant dial out

Hello all, I have setup a connection between our CUCM and Freepbx instance and am able to dial between extensions between the two but i can not dial out to the PTSN from cucm, i am able to dial out from FreePBX, when i looked at the log it looks like freepbx thinks the number I dial in CUCM is the DID number. Any advice is appreciated.

Assuming that you have the defaults of pjsip listening on port 5060 and chan_sip bind port as 5160, it appears that CUCM is connecting to port 5060 and pjsip doesn’t know what to do with it.

You could change the port at the CUCM end to 5160, but IMO a better solution is to use a pjsip trunk.
