Creating an XML to show ring group membership

The client currently has a button on their Aastra phones to show the “lines” they are a part of.

This is a non-FreePBX raw Asterisk install from 2012.

The new system is FreePBX 14. Where is the best place to get ring groups an extension is part of?

I can write some PHP against AMI or MySQL, but was curious if there might be something I am not aware of before I do so.

I don’t think you will find ring group membership in the AstDB, you will have to select from the ringgroups table or use the PHP methods.

Thanks. I got sidetracked by this stupid Polycom and did not work on this yet.
