The “Contacts” directory generated for our Digium phones by EPM is very time-consuming to use so that isn’t really a good option. When we used DPMA with the Digium phones, you simply hit “Contacts” and started typing a name then BOOM you had it. The EPM directory requires selecting a directory, pressing Search, then Submit, then using multi-tap to try and type out the name, then scrolling through a list of matching names, then Select, then finally Dial. Takes way too long so none of our users use that.
Is there a better way?
