Configure so as to NOT need to dial 9 for outside line

Running FreePBX v2.8. We want to configure extensions to NOT need to dial “9” for OB routes. Any advice as what/how to configure to do so?

This had actually just dawned on me to try this, seemed too simple. Will try in the AM.

just remove the 9 prefix in the outbound route.
