Config edit

Sorry for what is probably an easy question, but I have searched google high and low and not been able to find an answer to this. We upgraded from an older distro of FreePBX. In the old distro, there was a menu option of, “Other > Config Edit.” In a very recent distro, this option is missing and I haven’t been able to find it or find a way to add it. I didn’t use this a lot, but it was handy to be able to view a few things that I couldn’t see through normal menu options.

The config edit module was a contributed module and was never officially supported by FreePBX. You may be able to find a copy somewhere on the 'net to download, but it wasn’t in any of the usual places when I went looking. In any case, It may not even work in FreePBX 12.

FreePBX 13 has an official conf file editor which eliminates the necessity of searching.
