Good morning.
Does anyone know where I can get a COMPLETE list of English Asterisk sound files? I’m getting ready to have the entire batch re-recorded, and I show almost 1500 sound files (granted, different codecs), but the core listing is much less than that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know if one exists. You need to pour through the Digium site. Those files have been around a long time.
Are you recording in another language?
Allison Smith, the voice talent that supplied the files is available for hire and works with Schmooze.
You can use:
tree -r /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/
On a dev system my output was 12 directories, 1960 files mostly in gsm no duplicates.
On a FreePBX system you will also see things like
agent-login.sln -> /var/www/html/admin/modules/core/sounds/agent-login.sln
These are sounds provided by a module and are not asterisk packaged sounds.
