Cisco 7970G Registration Help

I’ve got a Cisco 7970G that I pulled from my old FPBX install. It has a good, known working version of SIP firmware. I’m moving it to my new PBX.

I have PJSIP configured (tried chan_SIP and couldn’t even get communication). I can see that the phone is getting some config info because if I change some of the settings in the (MACADDRESS).cnf.xml file, those changes show up on the phone screen (like the extension name). I think’s it’s a config file issue - I think.

FPBX shows me the following in the logs (192.168.1.43 is my pbx and 192.168.1.180 is the 7970):

Here is a link to my config file for the phone.

For the extension, set Force rport and Rewrite Contact to No.

Holy cow. That fixed it. THANKS!
