Cisco 7800 and 8800 series phones drop Calls when hold button pressed

HI Team,

I am facing a strange issue. I am using Cisco 7800 series and 8800 series phones and we have two freepbx one is configured on Line Button 1 and second is configured on Line Button 2.

when we make or receive calls on Line Button 1 and Called Party put call on hold it works fine but when Line Button 2 Called Party press hold button call drops for the receiver end not for the Calling Party. and if the Calling party press hold button it goes to music on hold correctly.

I’m sure you have read the cautions as to using such phones with SIP, they need CUCM to work in any way truly acceptably.

These are the MPP(3PPC). they are supposed to work with the Asterisk or any other platform.
