Check server disk usage for call recordings

PBX Version: 15.0.21
PBX Distro: 12.7.8-2107-3.sng7
Asterisk Version: 13.36.0

Hi, our server is currently our call recordings in .gsm format since it uses less storage space, but we are thinking of changing the format to wav. I wanted to test and see how much storage space will wav format recordings use, so I would like to be able to monitor this once I make the change.

I SSH into the server and used the command: du -h --max-depth=1 /var/spool/asterisk/monitor

This shows me the total disk usage for the call recordings per year, but I was thinking if there is command to check the usage for 2022 starting a specific date (the date when I change from .gsm to wav) to see how much more storage this format is using? Or if someone could give me an idea of how to do this?

I am sorry if this is a basic question as I am new here. Your guidance is appreciated.

Thanks!

You can increase max-depth and/or further be more restrictive on your path.

Thanks @dicko. Increasing the max-depth to 3 allowed me to see the usage per day.
I appreciate it!
