Hi,
Snippet from my Yealink SIP T54W basefile,
account.1.sip_server_host = __ line1Dest__ (no space after first two underscores or the editor changes the text to bold)
Right now, when the phone is provisioned
‘Account - Register - SIP Server 1 - Server Host’ is set to ‘192.168.43.xxx’
I want to take advantage of my dual FQDN name resolution setup.
Internal: my-fpbx.com resolves to local 192.16x.43.xxx
External: my-fpbx.com resolves to 98.16x.16x.xxx
I do not want to edit the basefile.
I do want ‘Account - Register - SIP Server 1 - Server Host’ to be set to ‘my-fpbx.com’.
Problem: I don’t know where ‘__ line1Dest__’ gets it’s value from.
Q1: What setting/parameter/value populates ‘__ line1Dest__’?
I have several templates and models of Yealink phones which would required editing all the template basefille(s). I know I can select and update multiple phones within the same template. I would rather change the one setting in the GUI from where the __ line1Dest__ is set, save/rebuild the template and update all phones.
Do you know which setting populates __ line1Dest__?
Thank you
I think I found the setting.
Settings - Endpoint Manager module - Global Settings - Internal Address.
Internal Address value populated __ line1Dest__, __ outboundDestinationProxy__ and __ backupOutboundDestinationProxy__.
I don’t know what else ‘Internal Address’ affects, but as of now, No one is complaining.
