CentOS Base

hi

I install. https://downloads.freepbxdistro.org/ISO/SNG7-FPBX-64bit-2002-2.iso to the server

On the server I execute.

# cat /etc/sangoma-release
Sangoma Linux release 7.5.1805 (Core)

# cat /etc/centos-release-upstream
Retrieved from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5-0.11 (Source)

At https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/SNG7+PBX+Release+Notes
It is written that CentOS Base: 7.6.1810

Please tell me why so? The release notes say version 7.6 and in /etc/sangoma-release 7.5?

If I do yum install sangoma-devel then in /etc/sangoma-release there will be 7.6

I’ve been trying to figure this out for a few weeks now too… I’m also on 7.5.1805 and yum update says there’s nothing marked for update.

Hoping someone can shed some light on this.

Thanks.

They may be in the process of releasing updates, but haven’t released it out to their distro at this time. If you install the sangoma-devel, that will allow you early access to updates.

Are you running FreePBX or a PBXAct? Mine is still showing 7.5.1805 and no pending updates, and I’m running a PBXAct.

Chris

I’m on FreePBX and not showing updates either. I pasted above what my repo list is. As long as I have the correct repos and just need to wait for update to be pushed, I’m content. Just wanted to confirm.
