Cannot Dial Toll Free Numbers

I just replaced an ole FreePbx server with a new one and everything seems to working except that I cannot dial any toll free numbers, I am attaching screenshots of all dialplans and errors I have found… The error I get is the number I have dialed is not in service. I have tried 1855 and just 855 and the number

It looks as if you should be working however I have encountered this before. A few questions. did you only have 1 outbound route? If so are you using CoS (I saw restricted Route in the logs there, thats why im asking.)

Also are you using SIP lines or Analog lines. If your using SIP lines who is your provider?

Yes I only have 1 outbound route… I actually went thru the freepbx server I replaced module by module as to mirror the setup on to the new server… I am using SIP lines but have a few analog lines running thru a SPA8000, but the analog lines have no DID’s attached to them…

On your route is your first trunk your SIP provider?

Also is your SIP provider SIPTrunk.com or sip.us?

Im sorry i may of mis spoke. I am using a local PRovider with a PRI and the outbound route is setup DAHdi

I do get a hangup cause of 1 it looks like when i try to dial toll free. I am trying to get with my provider to see if my calls are even getting out of the server… Any help though would be greatly appreciated… Its so strange that everything else seems to work except for toll free

Okay. hmmmm. See I have gotten that message from my SIP provider when they made a change on their side. Called them up and they corrected the issue and i no longer had it. Thats why i asked. Otherwise by what your showing I cant find why you would be getting that.

Ok I am going to call them again… Its just a weird coincidence that when I changed servers this started. Hoping it is them

Try this:

If you are dialing 1800XXXXXXX try dialing 800XXXXXXX
if you are dialing 800XXXXXXX try dialing 1800XXXXXXX

You may be stripping or adding a 1 to the number maybe and you need the opposite. From the above it doesnt seem like you have that happening though

I still cannot seem to get the toll free numebers to go thru… all i get is that the number is not in service when I know that it is becuse I can call them from my mobile…

We need logs - especially the ones where your provider tells you why the call isn’t going through.

I just use a . In the outbound routes and trunks for the dial plan rules.

Always works for me

Here is he log when I put a 1 before the toll free number

Google for “dahdi hangupcause 1” and see what other people that have solved the problem have to say.

The fact that your PRI provider is hanging up the call instantly is a really good clue. You might want to call them and see if they can tell you more about the failed call.

Ok I have googled that and have had not much luck… The Provider says that they see no issue, but I find that hard to believe. .Can you tell by the logs if the call is hitting the provider?

Pretty well yes it is and the carriers cause 1 means they have no route for that n7mber.

pri set debug on span 1 or (2. etc)

Would give more detail

So call the carrier, I assume you are trying to send callerid(name) as “Wolfes Auto Auction” and your number is originally assigned to

“AMERITECH INDIANA” EVANSVILLE IN

and your carrier will accept your “812425XXXX” as a legitimate callerid(num) with calls dialled to 18559990303 , if they only accept NXXNXXXXXX and not 1nxxnxxxxxx, you will have to modify your trunk/outbound route RULES TO SUIT.

Thanks all… Got it fixed it was something on the providers end… After I insisted that it may be them, they finally looked deeper into it.
