Cannot dial extensions during out bound call

Just recently we had some issues with Fractel, the phone provider. They made some changes in the system, and for some reason, now if we call out and need to “Press 1 for Sales” or whatever the option may be, we cannot do so. We can sit there and press buttons all day but it will not pick up on it. Also the same day I met with Fractel we updated the free pbx system, so who knows what caused it. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?

Your DTMFmode settings need to agree with your provider’s abilities , check with them.

Yup… I have had that before … Set dtmfmode= in your trunk settings
(I have dtmfmode=rfc2833 in PEER Details section)

Then check with your provider, it is up to them to let you know what they understand. And up to you to use those acceptable protocols.
