I was wondering why some folks complain about this a lot and I have not seen the issue with my installations.

Weird, I installed 14 new back in sept but am having this issues. Must of been doing a backup from a older 14 install that was 13 at one time made it revert back.
Restoring a backup would bring in the old mirror server values.
I’ll switch to the new server then as long as it has all the same versions of modules and what not
Just as a note/response in general - trying to get better monitoring and improve mirror server reliability is high on my list of desired improvements. It’s been frustrating to me to see the random outages that we’ve had the last few months.
