Can I direct incoming calls by caller's Area Code?

One of my users wants to direct calls from certain area codes to a ring group, while all other calls go to an IVR. I think calls can be directed by incoming Caller-ID, so is it possible to use wildcards, and have only the area code checked?

I believe you can use wildcard matching just like you do on outbound routes.
It would look something like 1601xxxxxxx.
