Can G729 licenses be added to a non-Distro installation?

We may be forced to move to a lower bandwidth setup, and I’m looking to cut usage everywhere I can. I’m running FreePBX 13 on CentOS 7. Can I add Digium G729 licenses?

g729 licensing has nothing to do with FreePBX only Asterisk:
