Calls have a limited duration

Hello Freepbx community!

I’m attempting to establish a ‘permanent’ call between two extensions that are registered in a freepbx instance. (still running fpbx 15 at the moment)

This two extensions are on different subnets but all traffic is routed, there is no nat involved in this communication.

It happens that the calls drop after a few hours.
Is there a way to avoid this behavior?

Please let me know what further information is needed to troubleshoot this.

Thank you for your time,
Pedro Caetano

In Settings-Asterisk SIP settings make sure both subnets entered

I didn’t fill that because all communications are routed end to end.
I’ll change that and report back.

Thanks

What side is dropping the call? Do the devices have a max call time setting?

I’ve reestablished the call, so far it is up for a while:
Endpoint: 1175/1175 In use 1 of inf
InAuth: 1175-auth/1175
Aor: 1175 1
Contact: 1175/sip:[email protected]:5667 d91276e397 Avail 13.439
Channel: PJSIP/1175-000054ec/AppDial Up 28:57:57
Exten: CLCID: “externo1” <1111>

This is somehow a nonstandard deployment as the audio is only 1way IFB. (Interruptible foldback - Wikipedia)

Should any issues be expected due to this?

Thank you for your time,
Pedro Caetano
