Calling a certain extension rings two extensions

I’m not sure how this has happened.
If my Office extension (1104) is rung from any extension on the system my Workshop extension (1301) also rings.

I’ve tried the following:

  • Completely reset both the Office & Workshop phones
  • Removed the Office & Workshop extensions & users from FreePBX & added them again.
  • I’ve checked things like Ring Groups etc but nothing stands out.

Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening or what I may have inadvertently set?
I’ve no doubt this is something I have done but simply can’t figure out how to undo it. It’s driving me nuts.

Just guessing, perhaps Follow Me didn’t get reset when you deleted and recreated the extensions.
Look at the Find Me/Follow Me tab for the Office extension; if it’s on, set Enabled to No.
Also, check that CF, CFU and CFB are all off.
Or, perhaps your settings in EPM are assigning 1104 to a second line key on Workshop.

just out of curiosity… why are your extensions not contiguous? 1104 and 1301? Was that a typo? Is it possible 1104 is a ring group??
