In the latest distro 16… I have an issue with caller id. When there is a direct call to extension with did, I see the number and the name from the phonebook or contact manger as I chose.
When the call goes through IVR or being forward internally by other person, the name is lost. I only get the number. Now I am lost…
If you’re using Superfecta or CallerID Lookup module to get names for incoming calls, those modules will only work with an inbound route.
I am talking about incoming route. For example, I am getting a call in ext 200, I see the name and the number. Ext 200 forward the call to ext 201, the name will not appear on 201.
I older version of asterisk it continued to apear.
