The caller ID for one of my extensions is not going out correctly.
It should be set by the extension settings and sent on our PRI but it comes out at the other end as private number.
This isn’t happening on any of the other extensions.
Any suggestions where I can look to fix this?

I have been working with my telco on the this problem. It seems when we call out on the offending extension “calling line identification restriction” is turned on.
On the debug from the telco switch they have
(working ext)
Calling Party Number i = 0x2181 = caller id allowed.
(non-working ext)
Calling Party Number i = 0x21A1 = caller id restricted.
My problem is that the extension is configured exactly like the working extensions.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could look?

I deleted the offending extension and put it back into FreePBX and now it works. Any insights you folks can offer as to why the problem occurred would be helpful.
