Call recording options using In-Call Asterisk Toggle Call Recording

Using “In-Call Asterisk Toggle Call Recording” feature code *1 to record calls.
Do the extension’s recording options apply to this type of recording as well?

Recording works, but I would like to find out how to prevent an extension from being recorded. Looks like the recording options are the way to go, but whatever change I make there, recording is always possible with whatever settings.

Two extension on a call, both have below options set.
Bot parties can record each other.
Why is the recording not failing and what am I missing?

Because you have On Demand Recording set to Enable. Set it to Disable

But disabling “On demand recording” makes it impossible to use the “In-Call Asterisk Toggle Call Recording” feature code *1, right?

My users have a DTMF (*1) button on their Yealink phones, by which they can start to record when they want to.

So, can I not use Recording Options along with the “In-Call Asterisk Toggle Call Recording”?
