Call pickups fails

Hello, I have setup a FreePBX 16 on a virtual server, with Grandstream end devices and I’m facing an issue with call pickups.

Even though I have setup call groups and pickups groups, when trying to use the feature code {extension} the device doesn’t even complete the action and the message “The number doesn’t match Dial Plan” appears.
There is an option in the devices settings “BLF Call-pickup Prefix” and it’s automatically configured to be the code the asterisks {}, but still the function doesn’t work.

This sounds like a phone configuration issue, not a bug, and nothing to do with Asterisk. I think the message is from the phone, and refers to the phone’s dialplan.
