Can someone maybe help me figure out what my issue is. I’ve setup everything the way it’s suggested to. I’ve tried turning T.38 settings on and off and every combo in between. I’m using a Global Prefix with a matching dialing plan. I receive faxes fine.
I’m using voip.ms I’ve read conflicting information about whether or not I can/should use different sub accounts on each trunk. but I’ve tried it both ways and it doesn’t seem to have an effect either way. So I wanted to have a trunk just for faxes. I have it set with my fax DID with support, error correction and NAT for T.38. I have an outbound route set for Faxing and T38 gateway enabled, dialing plan matches my Global prefix *9
According to voip.ms logs the call attempts never make it out. I don’t see anything on the logs that point me to the problem but I’ll admit I’m new to freepbx and this is the first system I’ve setup. That said I’ve spent many hours getting up to speed. I set verbose to 10 and I’m not seeing anything that looks like a problem. It starts to dial the number and after the last digit is played I get
Executing [en@app-cf-busy-off:5] Playback(“Local/*918884732963@special-fax-context-00000004;2”, “cancelled”) in new stack
And it proceeds to hangup call and send the Call dropped prematurely message. I’d be happy to share the FULL log during my last serious test. I also did a packet capture but since the calls don’t appear to going out I didn’t think it would make much sense to spend a lot of time on that.
I’m using FreePBX 16.0.41.5 Fax Config Pro 16.0.15
