Call forwarding "hot key" on Aastra 6731i

I have a user who would like to create a “hot key” so when he is out of the office all calls will automatically forward to his secretary. I tried to program this in the template to forward calls to the secretary’s extension but when I select the button on the phone it doesn’t actually go anywhere.

As long as I am asking questions…Is there a way to forward calls directly to a users voice mail?

If you look under

http://your.box/admin/config.php?display=featurecodeadmin

you will see the feature codes, program a button to dial the featurecode then the extension.

Direct to voicemail is *NNNN where NNNN is your extension

For the hotkey…I’d set up a followme and the set up a BLF key on the phone to toggle followme (*21).
