I have an odd issue with the blacklist module. I noticed that all of my DID’s are working without any specific inbound routes. The DID’s match the extensions and it appears that anyone calling a DID number gets routed automatically to the proper extension. I have a few numbers outside of my DID range that I’ve had to create specific inbound routes for.
If i call one of the numbers with inbounds routes, my blacklist works fine. If i call a DID that doesn’t have an inbound route, the blacklist doesn’t apply to any of the calls.
Is it possible to get the blacklist to apply to these calls?
Yes that is correct. Blacklist only works on inbound routes.

Does it now try to match a similar extension to a DID and route the call to it without being programmed specifically to do so?
I’ve never seen that behavior.
