Best way to reinstall FreePBX and preserve licenses

An update appears to have messed up my system preventing me from even accessing the web pages; something about GPG keys stored in redis. My attempts to correct this appears to have made things much worse. So time for a complete reinstall.

The only thing that I need to save from the old host is my licenses, and those appear to be in /etc/schmooze

I’m assuming that I can archive /etc/schmooze, rebuild the system, put /etc/schmooze back in place, and reboot. Is this correct? Is there anything that I’m missing?

Your licenses are tied to the deployment ID.

You look that up at portal.sangoma.com

Then when you reinstall, you tell it you are replacing an existing deployment ID during the registration process.

There is no value to preserving those files for transferring your license
