First off, congratulations on launching your new site!
Secondly, I wanted to make a quick post to just offer my two cents on color advice. I’d recommend playing around with the background color: moving it from black to a lighter color with a gradient would be a lot easier on the eyes, and give the site a ‘friendlier’ look.

It’s filled with great examples / explanations of colors, and why certain colors give certain ‘feelings’ to users, etc.
