I need to connect avaya ip office 406 and freepbx 14. If someone has already done something, you can give a working instruction please. Need to call from avaya phones via the freepbx trunk, is it possible? Avaya does not have SIP licenses. Both stations are on a local area network.
This is going to make your desired outcome problematic. Without SIP, the only way to do this is to set up an E1/T1 connection between the two servers, and that’s going to cost way more than any cost saving you’d get from having the FreePBX server in the mix.
If you look back through the forums, you’ll see many recipes for versions of what you’re trying to do. It’s not easy, nor is it something a ‘first-time’ PBX implementer should undertake without a test lab.
