Automated ftp backup not creating dirs on ftp server despite correct credentials for proftpd server

Hi,
Despite the credentials being correct in filestore for the proftpd server, the backup doesn’t create the required DIRs for backups.

Instead the backups are put into the root DIR location.

Any clues would be appreciated.
