"Asterisk SIP Settings." menu is missing

All,

Can’t find the “Asterisk SIP Settings.” under tools and can’t find it under “Module Admin” for installation as well.

Any advice?

Does it write the configuration into sip.conf?

ver 2.804

Thanks!!

I’m pretty positive it is still in 2.8.x called Asterisk SIP Settings. maybe you need to check extended repositories.

As a newbie I found this post and realized after some more digging that extra modules can be installed by visiting: Admin->Module Admin
Select “Online” end go to “Asterisk SIP Settings” Select Download/install and click the process button.

Hope this helps

Edit: Oops, should read the posts better next time

As a newbie you should also not used the Asterisk Now distribution as it has many issues, not the least is installing an old version of FreePBX with broken CDR’s

Scott

This isn’t true. AsteriskNOW 3.0 was released last week with Asterisk 11 and FreePBX 2.11

I stand corrected, the finally updated to current FreePBX.

I think that this is going to be fun  . . .

The FreePBX team has set the bar so high with the quality of our distro that the other distro’s are scrambling to keep up!
