Asterisk not starting on PIAF box with Pri card

Hi friends,

—I have been using my box without any glitches for 2 weeks. Today I was looking into backup and restore from primary to backup server when suddenly the asterisk service was disabled. amportal restart is giving me the following result

STOPPING ASTERISK
STOPPING FOP SERVER
SETTING FILE PERMISSIONS
Permissions OK
STARTING ASTERISK
/usr/sbin/safe_asterisk: line 145: 10946 Segmentation fault (core dumped) nice -n $PRIORITY ${ASTSBINDIR}/asterisk -f ${CLIARGS} ${ASTARGS} > /dev/${TTY} 2>&1 < /dev/${TTY}
Asterisk ended with exit status 139
Asterisk exited on signal 11.
Automatically restarting Asterisk.
mpg123: no process killed

Asterisk could not start!
Use ‘tail /var/log/asterisk/full’ to find out why.

—The /var/run/asterisk folder has correct permissions
drwxr-xr-x 2 asterisk asterisk 4096 Aug 22 18:25 asterisk
—asterisk -r gives
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)

I have no idea whats the problem.Anybody got any idea’s??

Did you do this:

Asterisk could not start!
Use 'tail /var/log/asterisk/full' to find out why.

Are there any Zombie Asterisk processes ‘ps aux|grep -i asterisk’
