Hi. I’m a newbie with FreePBX / Asterisk and today after a reboot our asterisk will not start. I’m trying to find out how to fix this because all of our phones are down and nobody can call us, as a call center this is very bad. This all started after I did a “shutdown -r” on the server because the CDR reports weren’t working. Really regretting this now.
I’m not sure what is going wrong, but I’m getting “asterisk died with code 1” (R.I.P. Asterisk!) and I have no idea where to start on trying to fix this. I am using putty to log into the server but this is not my area of expertise (windows sysadmin, never had to mess with this before) I can view the logfiles from what I have read on the wiki under troubleshooting. If anyone can help me out and get me going in the right direction I would be so so so so thankful!!!
