Using asterisk 1.8 when I am in cli I can see when a call comes in the path it takes and everything about the call. In asterisk 11 I can’t see any of this. This is the first time using 11 and any input would be great.
What verbose level are you using?
I don’t know why I didn’t think about that but I just set it to a 3 and it works great. But what does each level do for you.
Asterisk 11 runs a discrete dialplan debug level in each console attachment.
I think there are 8 levels each represented by the base 8 decimal value IE: 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128 so the module just AND’s the debug level and turns on different feature depending on the state of the 8 bits.
I am sure this is clear as mud and to my understanding is not documented.
Also there is an Asterisk debug facility and some modules such as FAX and SIP provide their own debug facilities. Some but not all support the new Asterisk 11 console isolation.
