Are you able to use functions to modify Endpoint basefile variables?

Hi All,
I am using FreePBX 15 with Endpoint manager commercial to set up Cisco 7975G phones. I would like to add a fuction or regex to limit the PriAcctName to 12 characters in the template basefile. I could just limit the extension name but would prefer to have the full name for caller id etc. Couldn’t find any documentation on if basefiles support functions?

If there is an alternative field and variable I could use that would also be an option.

Any suggestions welcome.

I know of no supported way to do this with EPM.
