Apply Patch For Exchange MWI

Hi,

Could somebody please explain step by step, how I should install this patch

This patch has nothing to do with FreePBX, it patches Asterisk source code.

This would be a nice feature if Digium ever gets into into a release version.

If you want to test it you will need to download whatever the latest version of Asterisk that it was tested against and then apply the patch. After applying from patch you then have to compile the patched source and install.

Thanks. Can I do this while still using FreePBX or do I have to use asterix stand alone only?

No, it won’t interfere with FreePBX at all. FreePBX does not support that option at the extension level so you will have to use the FreePBX override file to add it to an extension.
