Any recommended configuration step?

Hi there, everybody

I’m a new asterisk user and I now that I have a lot to learn. I just have two questions: What must we do after having install asterisk? and are there any recommended configuration step? I mean, after installation, first, it would be better to update the system, update freepbx, create extensions, configure an analog card (if necessary),… and other sort of things.

Step 1 - Read (and follow) the installation instructions for your OS in the section of the website cleverly named “documentation”.

If using CentOS I highly recommend the install guides at www.powerpbx.org
