Announcement as trunk destination

Is there a way to have an announcement as the destination for a custom trunk?

Create a virtual extension or miscelleaneous application and have the custom trunk route to that extension.

I’ve been trying that…but can’t seem to get the syntax right in the custom dial string box.

It’s got to be REAL easy, but my mind isn’t working quite right.

Create an announcement
Create a misc. application pointing to the above announcement.
In the custom dial string of the custom trunk put:

Local/xxxx@from-internal

Where xxxx is the dial code you gave to the misc. app.
