Is it possible to do an Announced Transfer using the BLF button? Call comes in, reception selects transfer and presses BLF for the desired extension. They want to announce the transfer, however this simply blind transfers the call.

On FreePBX, this is called an “Attended Transfer”. The button part is dependent on your specific phone configuration, but yeah - the system does it out of the box.

Question: any way to set this per BLF/button? I’m thinking of the case of a receptionist with 100 BLFs, 5 of which are VIPs who demand attended transfers, while the rest don’t care.
