AMI Password Changes in V14 Upgrade

So far in each upgrade from 13 to 14 the AMI password changes. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Or am I doing something wrong prior to the upgrade?

I have done a lot of 13 to 14 upgrades and have never experienced this, but there is a handful of reports here in the forum. Are you using this method to upgrade:

I am. The first one really confused me and took a while to solve. Now that I expect it, it’s much better but I think I’m 4 for 4 in AMI password changes.

One of the Sangoma R2 units was able to reproduce and opened this ticket:

Thank you Lorne. It’s not a huge deal now that I know to expect it. also in all 4 of the last upgrades VM is turned off which erases passwords and emails and call waiting is turned off for each extension. Not a huge deal, just an inconvenience depending on the number of extensions.
