Admin GUI login error, wrong password no matter what changes,

Admin login issue via GUI, using v16.

I’m unable to login to the gui, constant wrong userame or password, despite logging in via fwconsole and resetting / deleting and changing passwords.

I have tried deleting all users, saving, applying config and then logging in via fwconsole method and any other combination. FWconsole method via SSH always works ok.

Wondered if I have screwed something up, and before I reinstall I’m curious if anyone has an answer.

This is fixed - Searched and found a 2016 reference to

Then you’ll need to change Authorization Type in Advanced settings to “usermanager”
from webbrowser.

This fixed it - I can now login
