A way for not using custom contexts

Hello,

I have a pbx wich each extension has asociated a trunk for making an recieving calls. For inbound calls i was using inbound routes and for outbound calls i was using custom contexts, every one has the correspondient trunk.

Recently I realise that if i create an outbound route like this: 4./118 just the extension 118 match this, so i can get to match every extension with a trunk for outgoing calls by using this.

Wich way could be better?

I think you’ll find using the /extension syntax a whole lot simpler and faster than using Custom Contexts. There probably a lot of users putzing around with Custom Contexts when they really don’t need to.
