Are there any articles on how to set up Asterisk and Free PBX to work with 911 EsiNet?
Do you want to send NG911 SIP calls directly from your PBX to the PSAP over the public internet ?
Or put Asterisk inside the PSAP itself as the emergency operators’ PBX ?
Either way, I’ve not seen anything specific published publicly on this topic. My reading in the past revealed some open standards with no fully open source implementations. Asterisk is probably powering a lot of it, though, under the hood.
